Treatment
Specializing in non-surgical treatment of neck and back pain, joint discomfort using Chiropractic and Decompression techniques.
What makes chiropractic different than any other health care profession is that only a chiropractor has been educated and trained to diagnose and treat spinal subluxations or slight dislocations of the bones in the spine.
How It Works
To treat a subluxation, a chiropractor performs a light, quick, specific thrust with their hands. This procedure is called an adjustment, and often results in a “popping” or “cracking” sound, which is a release of gas from the subluxated joint.
When there is significant muscle tension the “crack” does not occur. However, the adjustment is still important. In order to stabilize the subluxation, several adjustments may be necessary accompanied by stretching, and strengthening exercises. Occasionally massage therapy or physical therapy may be combined with your chiropractic treatment to help prevent reoccurring of the subluxation. Our philosophy is that while your treatment and healing begins here, without the involvement of you outside of our clinic the success will be inhibited.
